Contact the Studio
Send a note about a sitting, a glaze run or a systems project, or come by the studio in Provo. The desk answers every enquiry within one working day and records it on a slip the same day it arrives.
No experience is needed. A wheel sitting is written for a first time visitor as readily as for a regular maker, and the studio explains the bench and the tools before the wheel begins. The sitting begins with a short written intention so that the session has a clear goal, and the closing note records what happened.
A wheel sitting is usually confirmed within a week, and open studio windows are posted a week ahead. A glaze log run or a kiln review round needs a little more notice because it depends on the firing schedule. If you have a firm date in mind, send the message early and the desk will hold a bay while the details are agreed.
Yes. Becca Kearl LLC also provides computer integrated systems design services, and the same appointment book discipline applies to a project engagement. A scope, a milestone plan and a written handover are agreed before work begins, and the project record is kept in the same careful way as a glaze log.
Ask for a short walkthrough and the desk will show you the appointment book, the glaze shelf and the bench before you commit to a booking.
